Quiet Strength Recovery

I'm working on my recovery.

For adults navigating their own addiction recovery. Check-ins, journalling, feelings, urges, routines and connections.

  1. Open the app. Read the short introduction and create a six-to-eight-digit passcode to protect your private writing.
  2. Choose one tool. Try a daily check-in, a reflection or a tool for a difficult moment. Skip anything that does not help.
  3. Keep what matters. Return at your own pace. In Settings, make an encrypted backup and keep the passcode used for that backup safe.

How am I feeling?
Overwhelmed and tired.
What could help today?
A pause, something to eat and a conversation with someone I trust.
One next step
Send a message and ask for a chat.

A check-in can be brief. You decide how much to write. This example does not create or save an app entry.

Quiet Sisters Recovery

I'm supporting someone.

For adult partners, friends and family of all genders affected by another person's addiction. Your wellbeing and boundaries matter too.

  1. Open the app. Create a six-to-eight-digit passcode for your private reflections. Family-support and urgent-help information are available before setup.
  2. Start with your needs. Try a short reset, read a boundary example or use the private Reality Check journal for your own reflection.
  3. Know your privacy options. Find Quick Exit and make an encrypted backup in Settings. Keep the passcode used when the backup was made.

What do I need?
Space to think before continuing a difficult conversation.
Words I could use
“I care about you. I need some time, and we can talk when we can both speak calmly.”
My next step
Take a pause and contact someone who supports me.

Use words that fit your circumstances. If you feel unsafe, seek appropriate outside support. This example does not create or save an app entry.

Before you begin

A few useful answers.

Do I need an account or have to pay?

No. Both apps and their tools are free. Create a local passcode to protect your writing; you do not need a QSR account, subscription or payment.

Can Chris read my private writing?

Your journal and workbook entries are encrypted in storage on your device. The current apps do not automatically send them to Chris or a QSR cloud journal. You control any files you choose to export. The apps do not monitor entries or alert anyone when you need support.

What if I forget my passcode or change phones?

The apps cannot recover a forgotten passcode. Use Settings to make an encrypted backup before changing devices or clearing browser data, and keep the passcode used when that backup was made. Individual text and PDF exports are readable files; keep them privately.

Will the apps work without a connection?

The core web tools can reopen offline after a successful initial load. External videos and support websites need a connection. Browser storage can be cleared by your phone or browser, so keep your own backup.

What does Quiet Sisters' Quick Exit do?

Quick Exit locks the app and changes the screen to a neutral page. It does not erase browser history, hide an installed app or guarantee that someone cannot see activity on your phone. Read the app privacy page and use your usual device security.

Are the apps on Google Play?

Google Play closed testing is being prepared. You can use the web apps now or find the current direct Android downloads on the main website. Read about volunteering for testing if you would like to help later.

Can I book a paid session through this site?

The current offer is two free self-guided apps and recovery writing. Future mentoring arrangements are being prepared; this website is not taking paid-session bookings. Organisations can email Chris about the resources or a possible collaboration.

Use the tools alongside the support you need.

QSRecovery shares lived-experience peer-support and educational resources for adults 18+. The apps do not provide treatment, counselling, detoxification or emergency care. Read the full privacy and use information and choose what is useful for you.
